Meesho dropshipping: how to start as a supplier

For sellers who want to list on Meesho without buying stock first.

Listing a wholesaler’s range? ListMagic, a Chrome extension, fills the Meesho catalog form; you press Submit. Free plan to start; Seller Pass ₹99 a month.

On Meesho the supplier ships every order: Meesho’s own steps are sign up, upload your catalog, “Receive & Ship Orders”, and receive payment (Meesho How it works, read 11 Oct 2026). So Meesho dropshipping means a wholesaler packs and ships under your supplier account. How to start:

  1. Register as a Meesho supplier with a bank account and a GSTIN or Enrolment ID / UIN.
  2. Agree with one wholesaler who packs each order, where the courier collects it, and how fast.
  3. List the wholesaler’s products as your catalog, with your own photos and price.
  4. When an order arrives, get the label from the panel to the wholesaler the same day.
  5. Get paid on the 7th day from delivery, then pay the wholesaler.

Meesho se dropshipping kaise kare

Meesho par dropshipping ka matlab hai: aap Meesho supplier bante hain, maal wholesaler ke paas rehta hai, aur har order wholesaler pack karke courier ko deta hai. Order aur rating aapke account par aate hain, isliye wholesaler ki packing aur speed aapki zimmedari hai. Pehle 5–10 products se shuru kariye.

In practice it works only if the label reaches the person holding the stock on the day the order lands.Meesho’s steps put receiving and shipping orders on the supplier, so the wholesaler is working inside your account’s promise. Before listing anything, settle three things with them in writing: who packs, where the courier collects, and what happens when a piece is out of stock.

The account itself is an ordinary supplier account; our Meesho seller registration guide has the sign-up steps, and the Meesho supplier panel login guide shows where orders and labels sit. The Meesho label crop tool cuts the label to thermal size if the wholesaler prints on a label printer.

Is Meesho dropshipping profitable?

It is profitable only when the selling price covers the wholesaler’s price, the shipping you pay and the returns you absorb. Meesho states “a 0% commission rate from suppliers across all product categories”, but the seller pays forward shipping on each order (How it works, read 11 Oct 2026). A returned piece earns nothing for the trip it already made.

Run each product through the Meesho commission calculator with the wholesaler’s price as your cost. If the result only works with no returns, the product does not work. We print no earnings figure here: what a dropshipper makes depends on the product, the price and the return rate, and nobody publishes a reliable average.

Cash flow matters too. Meesho pays “on the 7th day from order delivery”, so agree payment terms with the wholesaler that do not make you pay before Meesho pays you.

Meesho dropshipping products: what goes wrong

The wholesaler controls stock, packing and dispatch time, but every slip lands on your account. Our view of the three failures to plan for:

  • Out of stock after the order. You cancel, the buyer is lost, and the account carries it. Ask for a daily stock list and remove sold-out variants the same day.
  • Late dispatch. A wholesaler who packs once a week cannot serve a daily order flow. Test with five orders before listing the full range.
  • The piece does not match the photo. The return comes back to the pickup address and the shipping is already spent. Shoot your own photos from real stock rather than reusing the wholesaler’s.

One more limit if you start without GST: Meesho Ads are not available to sellers without a Regular GSTIN(supplier.meesho.com, read 11 Oct 2026); the Meesho Ads guide explains what that changes. Once a product sells steadily, buying that one in stock brings packing and speed back under your control.

Meesho dropshipping or reselling from the app?

Some searches for “Meesho dropshipping” mean sharing products from the Meesho shopping app with your own buyers and adding a margin. That happens in the buyer app, not in the Supplier Panel, and none of the Meesho supplier pages we read describes it, so we do not state its terms. Check what the app shows you on the day before you rely on it. Everything above is the supplier route, which Meesho does describe. Every other stage is inour Meesho seller guides.

Frequently asked questions

Is dropshipping allowed on Meesho?

None of the Meesho supplier pages we read mentions dropshipping. They describe a supplier who uploads catalogs and receives and ships orders (How it works, read 11 Oct 2026), so a wholesaler can only ship for you inside your own supplier account and its promises.

Is Meesho dropshipping profitable?

Only if the price covers the wholesaler’s price, the forward shipping the seller pays and the returns. Meesho states 0% commission; check each product in the Meesho commission calculator with the wholesaler’s price as your cost.

Meesho par dropshipping kaise kare?

Meesho supplier account banaiye (bank account aur GSTIN ya Enrolment ID), ek wholesaler se packing aur pickup tay kariye, uske products apni photos ke saath list kariye, aur har order ka label usi din wholesaler ko bhejiye.

Do I need GST for Meesho dropshipping?

No. Meesho accepts a GSTIN or an Enrolment ID / UIN at sign-up. Without a Regular GSTIN, Meesho Ads are not available.

Who is responsible if a dropshipped Meesho order goes wrong?

You are. The order, the return and the rating sit on your supplier account even when the wholesaler packed it, so agree stock, packing and dispatch terms with them before listing.

Meesho’s wording here was read on supplier.meesho.com on 3, 4 and 11 October 2026. The steps for working with a wholesaler are StitchMagic’s recommendation, not a Meesho rule.
