How to remove the background from clothes photos for selling
- Choose one photo from your phone or computer. The preview shows “Processing…”, then the product on white.
- Pick the output size: 1000, 2000 or 1200 px square. The preview redraws.
- Move “Background sensitivity” (10 to 80, starts at 38). Higher clears more; too high eats into a light product.
- Tap “Download PNG”. The file saves as white-background-1000x1000.png, or the size you chose.
The slider only appears when the corners of your photo match.

When the product background will not clear

Most failed clears are fixed before the photo is taken, because the tool decides from the four corners of the frame. Hang one plain sheet so it fills the whole frame behind the product and runs under it, with no wall, floor or door edge showing. Light it evenly from both sides, so neither side of the sheet falls into shadow. Pick a sheet that contrasts with the product: grey or a soft colour for a white or cream kurta, a light sheet for a dark saree. Then frame the shot so all four corners show only the sheet. If they do, the corners match and the backdrop clears; if one corner catches a cupboard, nothing is removed and you shoot again.
