Flipkart’s own seller guides give no pixel number; they ask for high-resolution photos from several angles and suggest a white background (Flipkart Seller Hub blog, checked 4 Oct 2026). Which Flipkart photo size to pick: 1000, 500 or 1200 px

File too big to upload

Drop from 1200 to 1000, or 1000 to 500, and read the KB on the result card before you download.

White bars on the sides

The no-crop rule at work: a 1500 × 2000 photo at the 1000 preset keeps 125 px of white each side. To fill more of the square, crop closer to square in your phone’s editor first.

Photo looks soft

Enlarging a photo smaller than 1000 px cannot add sharpness. Reshoot in daylight from closer, or pick the 500 preset.

iPhone photos will not open

HEIC files often cannot be read by the browser. The tool skips them, says how many it skipped, and asks you to save them as JPG.

Background is a bedsheet or wall

The resizer keeps it; Flipkart’s photography guide suggests a white background. Shoot on a plain white sheet in even light, or clear the background first.
