On the example inputs, a ₹1,299 kurta settles ₹807 to your bank after ₹492 of deductions, makes ₹306 profit when it is delivered and ₹169 per order at 30% returns (13.0% margin). The 22% commission is an example, not a Myntra rate: Myntra’s public partner portal lists no commission rates, so take yours from your seller agreement.

Myntra seller fees: what each deduction is

Seven things leave a Myntra order before the money reaches your bank. Four are Myntra’s charges, one is GST on those charges, and two are taxes held back for you.

Commission

A percentage of the selling price, set in the agreement Myntra gives you when you are onboarded. On the example it is ₹286 of the ₹1,299.

Fixed fee and forward logistics

A per-order fee plus the cost of getting the parcel to the customer. Logistics is billed on chargeable weight, so a light kurti in an oversized bag is charged on the bag. Enter both from your agreement or a recent settlement report.

Growth enablement charge

Myntra’s fee notice describes a one-time charge for new sellers once they start operating. It is netted off your payouts and given back as product listing ad credits of the same value, not as cash. Spread it over your expected early orders in the field above.

GST on Myntra’s fees

GST is charged on the commission, fixed fee and logistics, not on your product. The field defaults to 18%, the standard GST rate; use the rate printed on Myntra’s fee invoice. A GST-registered seller claims it back as input tax credit, which is why the profit line adds it back.

TCS and TDS

TCS is 0.5% of the taxable value, the rate for e-commerce operators since 10 July 2024; TDS under section 194-O is 0.1%. Both reduce the settlement but come back as credits when you file.

GST on your product

Already inside your price. Garments are 5% up to ₹2,500 a piece and 18% above, so the ₹1,299 kurta carries ₹62 of GST you remit.

Where a 1,299 rupee Myntra order goes in the calculator example: commission 286, fixed fee 40, freight 85, GST on fees 74, TCS and TDS 7, settlement 807, profit 306, 169 after returns
The calculator’s default example, line by line. Your own agreement sets the real numbers.

Myntra commission rate: why there is no table here

Myntra’s public partner portal FAQ and fee notice state no commission rates (read 3 October 2026). Your rate is in your own agreement, so the field is yours to fill and the 22% default is only an example.

If you have not been onboarded yet, model a range. On the example, every five points of commission moves the expected profit by about ₹46 an order: ₹215 at 17%, ₹169 at 22%.

The zero-commission construct

Myntra’s portal advertises a Zero Commission Construct for digital-first, made-in-India D2C brands, alongside its Rising STARS programme; enquiries go to MyntraRisingStars@myntra.com. Set commission to 0 above: the example kurta then makes ₹369 an order after returns and breaks even at ₹745.

Myntra payment cycle for sellers

Myntra states a 15-day payment settlement cycle from the date of delivery, not from the order date. Add transit time and the money arrives some weeks after the sale; plan stock purchases around that gap.

Myntra also states it charges no onboarding fee or refundable deposit, and that its representatives write from “@myntra.com” addresses. Anyone asking for a registration payment is not Myntra.

Returns move the Myntra margin as much as commission

On the example, ten points of returns cost about ₹46 an order: the same as five points of commission. Expected profit is ₹261 at 10% returns, ₹215 at 20%, ₹169 at 30% and ₹124 at 40%.

A returned order earns nothing and costs you the freight both ways plus any ad spend that won it. The piece usually comes back sellable, so the calculator does not write off the goods; if yours come back damaged, add that to the return cost field.

Commission is set by Myntra; returns are partly in your hands. An accurate size chart is the cheapest lever, and our size chart generator builds one from your measurements.

Frequently asked questions

What commission does Myntra charge sellers?

Myntra’s public partner portal states no commission rates, so your rate is the one in the agreement Myntra gives you at onboarding. Enter it in the commission field; the 22% default is only an example. On that example, every five points of commission moves the expected profit by about ₹46 an order.

What are growth enablement charges on Myntra?

A one-time charge for new sellers once they start operating. Myntra’s fee notice says it is netted off your payouts and given back as product listing ad credits of the same value, so part of your early payouts arrives as advertising rather than cash.

Are there registration charges to sell on Myntra?

No. Myntra states it charges no onboarding fee or refundable deposit, and that its representatives write from @myntra.com addresses. Anyone asking for a registration payment is not Myntra.

What is the Myntra payment cycle for sellers?

A 15-day payment settlement cycle from the date of delivery to the customer, not from the order date, as Myntra’s partner portal FAQ states. Transit time comes on top, so plan cash for a gap of some weeks between sale and payout.

Is GST deducted from my Myntra settlement?

GST on Myntra’s fees is deducted (the calculator defaults to the 18% standard rate; use the rate on Myntra’s invoice), and you can claim it as input tax credit. TCS of 0.5% and TDS of 0.1% are also held back and credited when you file. The GST on your product is inside your price: 5% for garments up to ₹2,500 a piece.

What is the Myntra zero commission programme?

A Zero Commission Construct that Myntra advertises for digital-first, made-in-India D2C brands, alongside its Rising STARS programme; enquiries go to MyntraRisingStars@myntra.com. Set the commission field to 0 to see the effect: the example kurta makes ₹369 an order after returns.

Only the taxes are pre-filled from law. Commission, fixed fee, logistics, returns and costs are example values for you to replace from your Myntra agreement and settlement reports. Payout cycle, onboarding fee and growth enablement: Myntra partner portal, checked 3 October 2026.
