Is this AI photo editing? No. Auto-fix is plain maths: it stretches each colour channel so the darkest tones reach black and the brightest reach white, which brightens a dull shop photo and evens out a yellow tube-light cast. The sliders do the rest. It does not remove backgrounds, retouch, or invent detail.

How to edit a product photo online

  1. Tap Choose a product photo and pick a JPG, PNG or WebP.
  2. Tap Auto-fix light and colour. Tap it again to compare with the original.
  3. Fine-tune with Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Warmth.
  4. Pick the output: original size, or a 1000, 1200 or 2000 px square on white.
  5. Tap Download JPG.

The preview is a smaller copy so the sliders stay quick on a phone; the download is rendered again at full size (up to 4,000 px on the long edge). More tools are on the tools page.

What each control does

Auto-fix finds the darkest and brightest 0.5% of each colour channel and stretches the rest between them. A grey-looking photo gains contrast; a photo under a warm bulb loses most of its yellow, because the blue channel is stretched more than the red. On a photo that already uses the full range, it changes little.

Brightness lifts or lowers every pixel. Contrast pushes tones away from or towards middle grey. Saturation makes colours stronger or greyer; keep it modest on fabric, because a saree that looks brighter than it is invites returns. Warmth adds yellow (right) or blue (left).

Square on white fits the whole photo inside a 5% margin on a white square, never cropping it. The square sizes are our presets, not a marketplace rule; check the image rules in your seller panel before you upload.

Can it edit a product photo like Photoshop?

For light and colour, yes, in a few taps. For anything that changes what is in the picture, no: there is no selection, no healing brush, no layers and no background removal. Use it to fix a dull or yellow phone photo before it goes to a catalogue or a WhatsApp group.

For the other jobs: the background remover puts a product shot on a plain sheet onto white, the watermark remover covers a logo or text, the image upscaler makes a small photo 2× or 4× larger, and increase image size raises the KB or pixels of a file. The AI photo enhancer page covers enhancement in more depth.

Where does StitchMagic use AI?

In ListMagic, the listing tool, not in this editor. ListMagic reads one product photo and fills the Meesho catalog form for you. Edit the photo here first, then use it there.

Listing the product on Meesho next?

ListMagic fills the Meesho catalog form from one product photo, so you are not typing the title, category and attributes by hand. Free plan to start; Seller Pass ₹99 a month (StitchMagic pricing, checked 16 Oct 2026).

Frequently asked questions

Is this an AI photo editor?

No. Auto-fix and the sliders are standard colour maths run in your browser. StitchMagic uses AI in ListMagic, which reads a product photo to fill a Meesho listing.

How do I edit a product photo online?

Choose the photo, tap Auto-fix light and colour, adjust Brightness, Contrast, Saturation or Warmth if needed, pick original size or a white square, and tap Download JPG.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The photo is edited on a canvas in your browser and saved straight to your device. There is no sign-up and no download gate (tool code, 18 Oct 2026).

Can it remove the background?

No. It changes light and colour only. For a product shot on a plain sheet, the background remover puts it on white.

What file do I get?

A JPG at quality 0.92: either the photo at its own size (up to 4,000 px on the long edge) or the whole photo fitted on a white 1000, 1200 or 2000 px square.
