How to increase image size in KB
- Enter the range from the form, for example 20 to 50 KB, or tap one of the preset ranges.
- Upload the JPG, PNG or WEBP photo in the box above.

How the image size increase works
A file that is too light is a compression problem, not a picture problem. The tool first re-saves the photo as a JPG at a higher quality setting, which adds bytes. If even the highest setting leaves it under your minimum, it enlarges the pixel dimensions in steps of 1.35× (up to six steps) until the file clears the minimum. A very small photo can still come out under the minimum after six steps. The result card then says so in amber instead of claiming success; try a larger original.

How do I increase image size in KB?
Enter the minimum and maximum KB your form asks for, upload the photo and tap Resize & Download. The tool re-saves the JPG at a higher quality and, if that is still under the minimum, enlarges the pixel dimensions step by step until the file lands inside your range.
My upload was rejected for being too small. What does that mean?
The form has a minimum file size and your photo is below it. Photos sent through chat apps are often compressed under that floor even though they look fine. Raising the file size in KB fixes it; you do not need to retake the photo.
Can I increase image size to 50 KB or 100 KB?
Yes. Set the range your form gives, for example 50 to 100 KB, and the tool aims for the middle of it (75 KB) so ordinary variation keeps the file inside both limits. The result card shows the exact KB before you download.
Does increasing the KB make the photo sharper?
No. A larger file carries more bytes, not more detail. If the photo itself is small or soft, increase its pixel size with an upscaler instead.
Can I increase image size in pixels instead?
