Chikan has its own GST portal lines. Entries titled “Embroidered with Lucknow Chikan Craft” include 6206 90 12 for tops of other textile, plus 6211 42 11 when sold as kurta-salwar (GST portal HSN master dumps, read 23 Oct 2026). Chikan kurtis therefore bill differently from plain ones.

Cotton kurtis wholesale: checks that stop returns
Length, in inches
One size label, from S to 5XL, can cover knee-length through calf-length cuts. Get length per style in inches from your supplier, then print it with each listing.
Pre-shrunk cotton?
Untreated cotton can shrink after washing. Ask whether fabric was pre-shrunk, wash one sample, then use those washed numbers for your size chart.
Side-slit stitching
Pull gently at each slit’s top. Stitches that open there on samples open for customers too, which comes back as returns.
Hand block or screen print?
Registered crafts such as Sanganeri Hand Block Printing or Bagru Hand Block Print name hand processes (IP India, checked 23 Oct 2026). Screen-printed copies of those motifs are different products; ask which method was used before calling any kurti block-printed.

5XL kurtis wholesale: buying a plus-size run
- Get measurements per size up to 5XL. Bust, waist, hip, length, in inches, taken from washed pieces. Labels reading 5XL mean little until you see those four numbers.
- Ask whether size runs can be broken. Some suppliers sell sets of sizes; some split them. We print no minimum, since it is each supplier’s own term; get yours in writing.

Size charts, in inches, belong on secondary images. Keep primary photos clean: kurti, plain background, no text. Show length against something for scale, plus one fabric close-up. Name crafts such as Lucknow Chikan Craft once suppliers can show origin; write chikan or block print into titles, since buyers type those words.
